Nom foods was born out of a fruitless search for easily accessible foods which were tasty, but didn’t contain any refined sugars and nasties. Founder, Steph, developed severe allergies at university and became increasingly interested in diet and nutrition. She quickly realised that there was a gap in the market for free-from foods which were organic, nutritious, and appealing to everyone.
Using some of her favourite nutritious superfoods like coconut oil and cacao nibs, and doing lots of research into the health benefits, Steph made the first ever batch of bars in her kitchen. She began to sample the bars amongst friends and family, and the feedback was unanimous: “nom nom nom”. The nom bar was born.
Nom products are special because of their unique combinations of superfood ingredients, creating tastes and textures which can be lacking from other free-from and health foods on the market.
