Ripe, autumnal hedgerow fruit sits at the core, joined by gentle spice and a subtle touch of liquorice. Fermented and matured in stainless steel and cement to preserve purity and freshness, the focus here is firmly on fruit and balance rather than oak. Well-shaped tannins lend a pleasingly dry edge on the finish, making this a natural choice for the table. Just as the Jasci family suggest, it’s particularly good alongside classic Italian dishes such as potato gnocchi or pasta with beans.
